Gecko Chamber: Locus Of Control

Gecko Chamber is Coskun Akmeric and Cem Serter, two producers currently exploring the psychedelic aspects of minimal and progressive electronic music.

‘Locus Of Control’ is their debut single, due for release October 3rd and taken from the forthcoming album. The record aims to introduce the duo’s signatory sound to the world of minimal techno using layers of processed guitar riffs and percussion instruments to develop stylised rhythms and melodies.

Raised in Turkey, the pair met during their school years and decided to form a band but eventually, as most do when one leaves school, Serter moved away and the pair lost touch yet both continued to pursue solo projects. Back in 2006, Akmeric and Serter reaffirmed their friendship and decided to work on their own style of music as one had been influenced by rock and the other had been producing experimental electronica.

Due to these very different influences, Gecko Chamber has brought together two sounds that eloquently create a unique combination of rhythmic waves that are set to intrigue and excite listeners. With auditions for a singer and discussions on forming a full live band taking place, Gecko Chamber are determined to reach another musical dimension with their project.
