Ellen Allien – Dust Remixes

It’s been about 6 months since Ellen Allien’s “Dust” album went on public release. While we’ve all been lapping it up at home and in the clubs, in the background BPitch have been busy distributing the parts to a hand picked selection of some of the most current and influential producers.

The Dust Remixes sees a range of different and contrasting styles come together. As a result, the album which was originally planned as a digital only has now been scheduled as a full release. One of the most eagerly awaited tracks must be the Kassem Mosse rework of ‘Our Utopie’ – it is undoubtedly big, but it doesn’t necessarily live up to some of the hype in the pre-release press coverage.

For me, the stand out track is the Aux 88 mix of ‘Ever’. They have added a whole rack full of beats.. it’s pretty much relentless all the way through and is a great piece of mid-set rolling techno.

The release features 13 tracks in total:

01. My Tree (Ripperton’s Backlash Remix)
02. Dream (Bodycode Remix)
03. Huibuh (Adultnapper Remix)
04. Flashy Flashy (Nicolas Jaar Remix)
05. Sun The Rain (Tim Hecker Remix)
06. Should We Go Home (John Roberts Remix)
07. Ever (Aux 88 ‘Black Tokyo Remix’)
08. Flashy Flashy (Fabrizio Maurizi Remix)
09. Searching (Shonky Remix)
10. Schlumi (Camea Remix)
11. You (Munk Remix)
12. Our Utopie (Kassem Mosse Remix)
XX) Sun The Rain (We Love Remix) DIGITAL BONUS

Be sure to check it when it’s released on 21st March!
