Part of the Third Side project on Restoration, which indulges more of her raw tendencies toward music production and previous releases, ‘Kill Me’ and ’24 Hours’ featured in Tama Sumo’s ‘Panorama Bar’ mix along with the mysterious ‘My Room’ created for the Funf Compilation have proved a fantastic introduction to Steffi’s sound.

Tight, dizzy, nauseous. Close to sickness. The ineluctable casualties of drink and drugs. Sex Worker is a wild, swinging animal of the night, violent and propulsive and rearing on its hind legs. He produces the warped music of a K session, forcing convention to the side and opening great chasms of freed emotion. As the clothes slip off and the mind finds paradise all dreams become realised and all nightmares relented. Within these furrows music takes on a transcendental and enlightened meaning where the artist’s soul is brought to bear, exposed as it is on the powdered mirror.

So far 2010 has been a stellar year for James Blake; first with his critically acclaimed ‘The Bells Sketch’ EP then the huge underground smash ‘CMYK’ on R&S Records, he’s gone from a left field beat-maker operating on the fringes of dubstep to one of the brightest new names to watch in British music today.

Lonely Galaxy is a swimmer. A powerful champion, an Apollo through the water. Young and lithe his gilded body is a triumph of creation, a vessel carved from the golden bough, the fruit of the ocean. Crowned by the curling waves he moves through water like a bird through air; progression is made with a swift cutting action, an extension of the arm through the surface of the water, opening a wound with the acute precision of a surgeon; he is sharp, light, frictionless. As he feels his path in the silk-like texture of the water his unloosened talent exposes itself.
